ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm so happy that you stopped by. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

My full name is Alexandria, but I go by the name my parents fell in love with "Xan". 

Born in Connecticut, I spent my childhood outside of Chicago before we moved to Carmel, California. 

After meeting my now husband Bob, I moved to Australia for three years before we returned to the U.S. Twenty years flew by as we moved thirteen times for various jobs and projects. In 2017, we changed our lifestyle completely by selling just about everything we owned and moving to a hilltop vineyard in Spain. We came for the culture, food, and relaxed lifestyle. What we got was oh so much more! We made our dream come true.

This lifestyle change also gave me the opportunity to finally pursue my dream of being an author. With daily walks in the vineyard and summer mornings spent at the beach—there is a plethora of inspiration just waiting for me to put pen to paper.
